1. Mentorship question: Describe your experience in how you found your mentorship? If you haven't found one yet, describe your experience so far in the search of a mentor.
I found my mentor by doing what I wanted to do, which was security. He was the owner of the company he lead me step-by-step and went I would be doing it as a security guard. I remember my first day going to security from the ship I was a very afraid. Mostly because acted authoritative to anyone. Even after me and my mentor at practice different scenarios, I was still a kind of afraid. But as time went on I begin getting uses to what I had to. Each day was another learning experience for me. Sometimes I would make mistakes, and my mentor would have to correct me in an appropriate matter. But, in the end I understood what to do. And I am most happy to say I had a great mentor over the summer. This will be an experience not long forgotten.
2. Research question: What has been your most important article you have read so far and why?
Well right now I'm still looking at articles, I'm looking for article specifically towards military or national security. My main goal to look for anything that deals with security. So that I may know all the different types of security, that function in the US and around the world. So far what I've learned is how security is done in a proper way. I will continue on with my research and try to find more into national and military security, for now.
